Meet Your Provider

Hi, I’m Shelby Fontaine (she/her), a neurodiversity-affirming therapist licensed in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

I’m an autistic, late-identified therapist who supports autistic adults, late-diagnosed neurodivergent individuals, AuDHDers, and LGBTQ+ young adults looking for a space where they can exist without masking or explaining their neurotype.

In our work together, I provide a gentle, validating, and calming environment. We will take a grounded and collaborative approach as we explore your current challenges, address what has been weighing on you, and identify how you want your life to look going forward.

My practice is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and anti-ableist. I believe you were never “too much” or “not enough”; you are navigating a world that was not built to accommodate your unique way of being.

During our initial sessions, we will focus on building a safe connection, understanding your present experiences, and establishing goals that feel realistic and supportive for your needs. My hope is that you finish each session feeling seen, accepted, and centered.

I currently provide telehealth therapy for clients in MA and RI. As my licensing expands, I will be able to support more individuals across different states. Please complete this form if you are looking for care in another state.

If reaching out feels intimidating, know that is completely understandable. You do not need the perfect words or a complete story to begin. You are welcome to show up exactly as you are, and we will find the path forward together.
